Made From Memory.
Melbourne International Film Festival.

Films leave a lasting Impression, some stay with you forever.

To prove this we asked fans of the Melbourne International Film Festival to recreate their favourite film for it’s 65th anniversary.

Using social media we selected one fan to write, direct and act in his own creation of a film he saw at the festival, once, 15 years ago.

His journey through the pre-production created content that was followed in real time, and every step of the way, viewers were encouraged to book their tickets to this years festival. The film premiered online, and simultaneously at the festivals opening night to a crowd of celebrity actors, directors and stars.

A user-generated film that demonstrated the power of International Films in an era of blockbusters. And inspired a whole new audience of film fans creating their own memories.
